Shreya Arya is the President of the Women in Computing Society (WiCS) at Drexel University, where she is pursuing a B.S. in Data Science with a minor in Finance. She is currently on co-op at JPMorgan Chase as a Liquidity Risk Reporting Analyst. As President, Shreya oversees a 25+ member board across eight committees, ensuring events run smoothly, guiding strategic initiatives, and fostering professional development opportunities for members. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Zoey, thrifting, trying new restaurants, and watching movies.

Alivia DiPrimeo - External Event Coordinator

Alivia is a pre-junior Computer Science Major. She runs the Outreach and Web Development committee and puts her efforts towards maintaing the WiCs website, as well as her own side projects. Alivia is passionate in UX/UI and putting her creative foot forward in web design.

Sumaiya Usman - Marketing Director

Sumaiya Usman is a Pre-Junior majoring in Computer Science with concentrations in AI & Machine Learning and Computer Graphics, Vision & Interaction and minoring in Data Science. As the Marketing Director, she deploys innovative strategies and management protocols to improve marketing operations and ensure branding consistency. Sumaiya did her first co-op at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) as a Systems & Performance Data Analyst. When she is not working or studying, you will find her trying out new cafes, listening to music (Coke Studio Pakistan, Saint Levant, Pop , etc), and exploring scenic landscapes within the tri-state area!

Grace Hermkins- Networking Director

Grace Hermkens is a Pre-Junior majlring in Computer Science with concentrations in Software Engineering and AI & Machine Learning. As the Networking Director for the WiCs, she works to create a welcoming, encouraging community by organizing events that help students connect with one another and build lasting friendships. Outside of class, she enjoys playing video games, bingewatching shows, going to hackathons, and finding ways to bring people together. She is always up for an adventure and will never turn down the chance to meet someone new, so if you see her around, don’t be afraid to say hi!

Adrina Biju - Social Media Manager

Adrina Biju is a Pre-Junior majoring in Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration. She is currently on co-op at Comcast as a Market and Competitive Intelligence Co-op, where she supports research and analysis on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. As the Social Media Chair for WiCS, she is passionate about using digital platforms to showcase the amazing people in this organization, promote WiCS events, and create content that strengthens community. Outside of class and co-op, she loves to dance, play volleyball, run, cook/bake, and spend time with friends and family.

Ashni Kumar - Bytes & Bridges Director

Ashni Kumar is a sophomore majoring in Data Science with a minor in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. As the Bytes & Bridges Director, she leads the planning and execution of WiCS's flagship networking event to ensure an impactful experience for students seeking tech roles. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and learning French.

Shanielle Hall - Marketing & PR Chair : Newsletter and Brand Development

Shanielle Hall is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science with concentrations in Software Engineering and AI & Machine Learning. As the Newsletter and Brand Development Chair for WiCS, she manages the organization’s digital presence and creates content that highlights member achievements and upcoming events. Outside of WiCS, she enjoys cooking and video gaming.

Lael Apentang - Membership Director

Lael is a Pre-Junior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Computer Engineering. As the membership director for WiCS, she aims to recruit and maintain prospective members by serving as a point of contact and planning membership events such as our general body meetings and info sessions. Her academic interests lie in the interesection of computer science and healthcare, and some of her hobbies include cooking, dancing, and playing volleyball.

Shyama Patel - Internal Outreach Chair

Shyama Patel is a Pre-Junior majoring in Computer Science with concentrations in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Computer Graphics, Vision & Interaction. As Internal Outreach Chair for WiCS, she proactively connects with organizations across Drexel University to foster collaborations on various WiCS-hosted events. Outside of academics, she enjoys spending time with friends, playing ping pong and volleyball, reading, and binging a good show.

Zainab Sajjad - Networking Chair

Zainab Sajjad is a Sophomore majoring in Information Systems with interests in business and cybersecurity. As the Networking Chair for WiCS, she is passionate about building strong connections and creating spaces where students feel supported and included. She loves meeting new people, learning their stories, and sparking collaborations that help others grow both personally and professionally. Outside of class, she enjoys watching anime, traveling, playing volleyball, and taking part in hackathons.

Jovita Rahman - External Outreach Chair

Jovita Rahman is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. As the External Outreach Chair for WiCS, she is passionate about fostering meaningful partnerships and creating opportunities for students to connect beyond the classroom. She enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with friends and family, doing art, and exploring new experiences that inspire creativity and growth.

Bhavika Choudhary- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director

Bhavika Choudhary is a Junior majoring in Computer Science with concentrations in AI & Machine Learning, and Computer Systems & Architecture. She is also minoring in Mathematics. As the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for WiCS, she leads initiatives that foster an inclusive community and advocates for greater representation of underrepresented groups in tech. When she’s not studying or working, you can find her hiking, sailing on the Drexel Sailing Team, doing crafts, spending time with her friends, or playing cozy games.
