The Women in Computing Society (WiCS) is an organization tailored to support women-identifying people in computing fields and students interested in technology. Its purpose is to support, recruit, and retain women pursuing a degree in the broad field of computing. WiCS connects its members with each other and the greater computing world through mentorship programs, social gatherings, guest speakers, workshops, and national and regional conferences. The ultimate goal is to empower women in technology fields to succeed and thrive in the Drexel community and beyond. We are an official chapter of ACM-W. This organization is open to anyone who supports women in tech!

Drexel Women in Computing Society (WiCS) is a student chapter of ACM-W, the Association for Computing Machinery’s Council on Women in Computing. We are a female-centric organization that supports, celebrates, and advocates for the engagement of, but not exclusively to, women in the computing fields of Drexel University.
WiCS strives to create an expansive and strong network of members through our mentorship programs, social events, guest speakers, technical workshops, professional workshops, and national and regional conferences. The ultimate goal is to empower women in technology to succeed and thrive at the college level and beyond.
